Photographing bridges of Paris, France In Paris, there are 37 bridges over the river, many interesting architectural elements with the most and with an interesting history. Most of these are in the central area of tourism between the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame de Paris, one of the most photogenic of Paris, we risk the most photogenic cities in the world!
Perhaps the best way to see and photograph the bridges of Paris is the Seine itself. Many cruises on the river will take you through the main part of the Seine, often while drinking wine and eating good food. I do not recommend this food and wine used for photography, however, that you rather like photographs. Except that for a later time, this is one reason to be in Paris in the first place! Most large boats leave as close to the Eiffel Tower and the boats are "enormous" increase in the amount of 300 or more passengers. For photography is my favorite small boats departing from Pont Neuf which carry fewer people and do not serve food. You go to the cruise terminal at the beginning and try to get a seat at the front of the boat for better views. The evening light is beautiful it must try to be on one of the trips last river before sunset is a moment to be very photogenic River.
Do not forget to photograph the bridges of the earth as well. Many are very popular with musicians and artists while others have little cubby holes for fans to watch the Paris skyline unfold before them and so, being in love. The Seine has a constant supply of the movement of commercial vessels of interest while dinner river cruises and tours of the site and passes under the bridges. It is a way fascinating to see how it works in Paris and a great prospect for the photographs.
Bridges spanning 200 years of architectural styles from simple footbridges to decorate masterpieces of sculpture. Each bridge is different, one of the exciting reasons to spend time on the Seine.
While I will not cover most of the bridges in this article I will discuss some of my favorite and most photogenic bridges of Paris.
Pont Alexandre III Bridge is adorned with intricate carvings of work that many consider one of the most beautiful in Paris. The bridge connects the Champs-Elysees and the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower quarter, well worth the time to take off during these two sites. Much of the detail work can be seen from the river so viewing Pont Alexandre III from this point of view is interesting in itself, river cruises. Pont Alexandre III was built between 1896 and 1900.
Pont des Arts or Gateway Arts is a pedestrian bridge in Paris which crosses the Seine. It connects the Institute of France and the central square (square yard) of the Palais du Louvre. The original bridge was built between 1802 and 1804 and was the first iron bridge in Paris. After a story a little rough, including damage during the two world wars and barge collision in 1979, the bridge has been dismantled. The current bridge was built between 1981 and 1984. Today, the bridge is frequented by artists and musicians and is a popular spot for picnics and watch the boats sail the Seine.
The new bridge in that area of Paris is the gateway Leopold Sedar Senghor, formerly known as the gateway Solferino (or Solferino Bridge) connecting the Orsay Museum and the Jardin des Tuileries (Tuileries Garden). The bridge was built between 1997 and 1999. This bridge crosses the Seine, with the single span and is very photogenic with its "unique architecture. An interesting note is the use of Tabebuia, a Brazilian tree that was used to cover the bridge.
We can not spend every minute in Paris to photograph, however, as there are so many other interesting things to do. A highlight of all time in Paris for me a.
