How do you feel about a parent who removes his glasses before the child slap in the face? It always made me feel as if it evaluated the glasses more than me.
Sounds a bit like child abuse ...
Now I'm all for spanking, both in theory and practice.
But there was never a time when the slaps on the face is an appropriate form of Disiplin.
Glasses are expensive.
I think a slap is won if the child is back to talk, then you would not need to slap a location other than the mouth. There should be no reason to take glasses.
I also forgot the point of the glasses so could cut the child when it would be appropriate to remove or stay away from them.
Well she probably did not want the child or you're cut or impailed by glasses. Always slapped sucks. Sorry you had to go through.
I slapped sister once when she called my mom ab ****. She had no glasses, if it is almost irrelevant. I think I'm responding to the first post here.
I do not think slapping a child is a good idea at all, but sometimes there are exceptions. You say "he always" makes me think that this happens frequently. What is its origin to react this way?
Maybe you need a serious conversation with your mother or a parent concerned about what is acceptable behavior in both of your parts, and if that does not help, maybe you should talk to counselor.
I think that slap in the face is humiliating and hurts more than a spanking to the rear.
parents who honestly think its ok to smack their children face in this day and age must be a mental handicap ... you only want to go to jail.
slap a child in the face is just terrible.
Instead of slamming your face, you should have it turned around and smacked her buttocks.
I agree glasses are expensive. Children with a shovel.
If you know how you think, why do you care how we feel about this?
If you are looking for validation, speak to a real life friend or a therapist. You will not get what you owe on Yahoo Answers. Sorry.
because it is not smart to hit a person in the face with glasses, DUH.
