Could this bag be practical to travel? Many answers if you please? I am traveling to the United States, New Zealand, Fiji and Vietnam through. I'll be gone for a little less than four months.
This bag is not designed for passengers, who immediately sets off alarm bells in my head but it is the perfect size and shape of what I want, it is guaranteed for 30 years and it seems quite is discreet, which is important for me that I do 't want to stand out too.

Seems pretty solid to me, and those leather bottom are safer than having nylon from the fulcrum the most weight.

I've been traveling for a year back in the 90s. I borrowed a friend's back. Big mistake! A good backpack should be fitted to your size and as I'm pretty short in the body, backpack my friend was too big for me and never rode my shoulder to the right size. I was uncomfortable the whole time I wore it and paid the ultimate price by the rupture of a muscle under my shoulder blade so that the execution of the wretched thing.
I am still moved by this recurring injury nearly 20 years later!
Believe me - get a good backpack, properly implemented. An army surplus store is the best place to shop.

If it is the shape and size so I'd probably go ahead, but only after looking in the first few shops (shops, camping stores, military, etc.) so I can compare a little.
