Ergo Backpack

Ergo BackpackWould it be better when cycling to carry my baby in a backpack (Ergo) or attached to a seat?

I thought about it, at least if it is in the backpack and jump on the bike, it does not go down with the bike. How safe are these baby carriers attached to the bike? I know he must wear a helmet too.

Neither. These two things seem to be begging for disaster. How about using a Burley (one pull of the buttocks) and place his infant seat in there? Thats what I would do.

drive safely and more slowly than usual and you will not have to worry too much. I'm pretty sure a backpack on the bike would be much more dangerous than any other option and your baby should not be on the bike at all if he / she is too young to support themselves or to enroll in weight limits or a safety seat or one of those pull behind things.
