A purse or wallet is a small flat case used to carry personal items such as cash, credit cards and identification documents, such as a driver's license. Wallets are generally made of leather or fabric, and they are usually pocket-sized.
Wallets are usually designed to hold bills and credit cards and keep in a pocket (or purse). small cabinets for invoices that have no space for credit cards or identity cards may be classified as money clips.
aec breast wallet (also called a portfolio "secretary" or wallet "transition" [4]) are wallets in which the bills are not folded. They are for chest pocket of men in a jacket or a handbag. They are too large for storage in a pocket.
aec Bi-fold wallet: a type of wallet in which the bills are folded over once. This became the "standard" portfolio. Credit cards and identication can be stored horizontally or vertically.

Some portfolios, especially in Europe (where larger coins are more frequent) contains a compartment wallet. Some portfolios have included staples or bands to keep them closed. As European bills (pounds, euros) are larger than American bills in one dimension, they do not fit in some smaller American wallets.
A portfolio is generally one or more pocket money, in some cases, it can also be a money clip. Wallets are usually one or several pockets for credit cards or identity cards, which can be oriented vertically or horizontally.
Wallets may also have an identification pocket, which facilitates the display of a regularly used piece of identification such as workplace ID or a bus pass, by housing in a period as transparent "window". A portfolio may also include pockets of photos, which are designed to contain a small collection of personal photographs. A portfolio may also have a small pocket for coins or keys.
Some portfolios are attached to metal chains that are then cut to a belt, as a means of preventing loss or theft by pickpockets. Some travelers replace wallets with money belts, which are belts with a hidden money compartment.
