I am thinking of buying a Bobkat Karrimor 65L Backpack for 2 months in Thailand Trip? Any comments? Buying a Karrimor for two months in Thailand is like buying a tank for a drive to the park. sure you get there, but at what price? I do not know your travel plans, but if you'll catch most of a bus from one city to another you Wil Karrimor contain up to 10 times. The Thai is more civilized than you may think.

Most of the time you carry your "stuff" from airports and bus stations for taxis and buses and then to the inns and hotels. When you're on tour or hike you may need a little "walk-around" bag with sunscreen, TP, towels, books to read, sunglasses, snacks and perhaps a Lonely Planet TG.
You can get a backpack expensive as you might never use again or rarely use or you can pick up something in a thrift shop that still has some life left. Many people use duffel bags with shoulder straps and some even use bags or suitcases on wheels! But it is much more sexy to say you were "backpackers" in Thailand as "dress-envelope" in Thailand!
Make sure your bag has a way to lock the pockets and flaps, a sort of loop or hardware you can use a padlock to secure the bag. This keeps others from your stuff!

Not knowing that the backpacks, but his Karrimor then its going to be very resistant to wear, in fact, it will probably last for years.
If you like it, buy it.
Do not wait for whatever you do and buy a pack rip-offs of Thailand and those of the other are total crap-ever waterproof and if you stress, they will fall apart on you quickly!
I would go with the gym bag stock and small backpack.
