I need advice on buying a laptop notebook.? I want for my daughter and cheap laptop will his costume for the navigation and communication mainly. It is in the army and will be tossed from a base in future years. I say that these laptops are more durable, small, and effective for her. Plus there is a bit more affordable if it is damaged.
What do you think I should look at?
Here's one I'm looking for a:
Intel Atom N270 Asus
16B memory, 16GB hard drive, 10.1 "screen,
That bodes well for sending e-mails and update on networking sites. As a former Marine, I can tell you that packing space is limited in all branches of the military, so small is good. Click here for comparisons http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory. ... . They ship fast and can be sent right to it. Hope this helps and good luck.
I think the netbook offers an excellent choice and his suit well. If all she did was navigation and communication, it is perfect for his needs.
If you want more durable laptop, I suggest Thinkpad series.
Two of them I never had a problem for a period of 5 years (3 years for the first one and the second for 2yr)
