How many vegetables / vegan owner of a portfolio, leather shoes, belt or a sofa? more to admit!
Thats a good point, many vegys' I know, wear leather shoes and not see the irony.
Or to complain there is no choice of shoes (which could be right)
FYI. Vegetarians have to be just as against the consumption of meat, but some are against animal cruelty.
Veggie im not because issues.its best for you and I do anyway.yes meat i have leather in my house and all the vegetables are wardrobe.not vegetables because of animal issues
I imagine very few.
Sometimes people are vegan or vegetables because they do not eat living beings, and not necessarily because they are animal lovers, while some might even leather couch ..
Will if they are made of human skin?
meat eaters without doing all sorts of reasons, not all to refrain from its leather products only small minded people who think that.
Why vegetables and vegan now?
They do not hurt anyone!
I am a vegetarian, vegan not and can not always resist leather shoes, sometimes. I am vegetarian for my health, not for the sake of animal rights. But the longer I go without eating meat, the most bizarre that I think of wearing leather. There are many beautiful new options at this time, not just PVC Payless, so I'm looking more to them.
Also, sometimes a vegan junk can (and why waste?), Or things from their time as a non-vegetarian, or be sent to them.
Hello, I gradually all the mines years ago and replaced all with a safe alternative (which is super easy!).
Because vegans / vegetarians are also aware of our responsibilities as consumers and recycling, so we did not agree with any burning while it is not safe. Also, not everyone can afford to replace all their products nonsafe when changing lifestyle. Many people think, "Okay, this sofa / shoes are leather, I can not afford to replace it now, but when I can, it will be a safe alternative."
I do not think vegan / vegetarian who owns these things is a hypocrite, but I personally do not think a vegan or vegetarian is "actively" buy leather, so an alternative is available. People say No * vegetable alternatives are expensive, but they are not. Moreover, without wishing to sound like a hippy total there is too much junk in society. It is better to buy a second hand belt fabric where the money goes to a charity for children (for example) than to buy a new one society may be a subsidiary of a company related to vivisection, etc.
I am vegetarian and I've been a number of years. I do not wear, own, or buy items unless they are humane. There are vegan shoes, belts, wallets. Its called Pleather, canvas, or what you have.
Check out why www.peta.com leather sucks
Check to see www.vegan.org vegans living
I'm vegetarian and I must confess a weakness for handbags, wallets, shoes, belts and ..
In addition to what is already posted, some veg'ns leather from before they become veg'n they see it as a loss of the animal if they throw it, but do not buy things Leather further.
I
not me, it would be stupid.
have leather makes you responsible for the death of the animal. You do not see the point of being vegetarian and the purchase of leather ... I do not see the logic
I will not lie, I do leather products, but I get a lot better to do but I do not buy or wear leather. I'll keep the points I have, but I actively set out to not buy any more leather.
I've been a vegetarian for over 18 years, but I stopped buying leather products are about 3 years I realized that I was a little hypocritical. There are also plenty of change.
