Leopard Print Belt

I just bought one and I do not know what color denim (jeans) to bring with. I color shirt down, but every time I wear with my jeans, I feel like it seems a bit off somehow. Or I do not know, maybe I'm imagining things. Perhaps my decision is wrong, because I've never worn leopard before, let alone purple leopard print. What color pants do I wear this belt?
