Lindberg Glasses

Lindberg GlassesHow do you think of films and soundtracks game?

Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionist, modern ... An unabridged list of the progression of Western classical music in the past five hundred years.

My question is, do you think film music and the game can be added to this list? Or do you think BO today are separated from the growth of Western music?

I have amassed a collection of soundtracks of good size in my iTunes library, so a little over 1 in 10 songs is a soundtrack of some sort. The problem is, I would not say all an extension of classical music, while others I would. But hey, that's why I ask you, right?

I personally think that video game and soundtrack are examples of contemporary music scene today in classical music, like Mendelssohn's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" was when it was written. We still have composers like Philip Glass and Magun Lindberg who compose symphonies and music along the "traditional" style, but we have composers like Hans Zimmer and John Williams, who appear as modern day Rossini (in sense that they consist primarily of music for drama).

Thoughts?

I think your concept of this music is incidental music is the best definition of them I have not heard.

That one of these weigh on the scale of the quality of Mendelssohn with the "Midsummer Night's Dream" Following an appeal is not done yet.

There is a high degree of panache and a certain virtuosity in some of these tracks.

I would say that, like most composers of film, the talented composers are able to change hats, writing any kind of genre and do it with much success, but not the classic 'Ala' expectations, at any length or width real keep your interest for a continuous twenty minutes.

Bach was the father of church music and his music is the music of computers because computers can not play more than one tone at once.

Much of the beginning of Chopin, etc. Music is music Mendellsohn behind Modern Day romantic movies.

My favorite is Bach as I played all his music (piano) (harpsichord). Love Inventions threefold.

Strange, you should talk. I play Star Craft, a single player against the computer. I love the theme, when I Terrien. I think a lot of film music is well designed and most composers seem to have a solid classical training. I only see movies in theaters, the volume is way to high for my comfort. One of the composers that comes to mind is Miklos Rozsa, he has composed for the film Ben Hur. I'm not impressed by the likes of Yanni or gender.

I think my favorite was the RB game "Darius". With my memory of my love for video games of the 1980s and his music ..... let me talk something about the music of Darius ..... The first stage of the game sounds a bit like a samba F sharp minor, then when you turn off this step and proceed to the second stage, everything is transformed into an F minor style techno. For all you fans Darius is one where the red metro guided missiles to shoot at you and the circles of death "are coming to you .... and try to pass through smart bombs your greatest ally.

The fourth stage, when you face a type of "Mothership" enemy called the hippocampus "gushing flashing circles to you, a kind of jazz waltz style with the great C major chords and Gb switch sides each measure follows.

I realize a Japanese composer is the soundtrack. The game has been effective from Taito Corporation at the time of liberation in 1986. The major credit for the music of Darius will Hiroyuki Kawada and the music publisher was Scitron a.
