Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:10-13 of the Noble Qur'an on paper: 1) God has given you power over land and give thanks to little, 2) Allah told the angels to prostrate to Adam for the home, 3) Iblis (Satan) was the First Historically disobeyed Allah, and 4) When Satan said he is better than Adam? And 6) The Pride of Satan was the first sin in history

The meaning of the verse 7:10

And Allah has given you the power O mankind on earth, and appointed for you the earth as a means of livelihood on which you eat, drink and dress. Little give thanks! you do not give thanks for what is big or to small, it is also said to mean: Thank you give just about anything that is done for you.

In other words, Allah gave you power, O children of Adam, in the land, and appointed for you therein livelihoods, that is, the means by which you are able to survive, but few Thanks show you, for this purpose.

The meaning of verse 7:11

And Allah created you from Adam and Adam is from dust, then fashioned you into the belly, and when Allah fashioned Adam He said, among the angels: Fall prostrate yourself before Adam, a prostration of hello!

And they fell prostrate, all save Iblis.

Iblis was not one of those who prostrate themselves before Adam.

In other words, God created Adam your father, then he said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam, a prostration, which is a bow of greeting. So they prostrated themselves, all save Iblis, the father jinn, who was among the angels, he refused to prostrate.

This verse shows that Iblis, Satan, was the first creature who disobeyed Allah.

Iblis was not an angel, he is the father of the jinn.

Jinn are invisible creatures that live like us, they eat and get married etc. Jinn, as humanity is commanded to worship Allah and obey His law.

The meaning of verse 7:12

Allah Almighty says: "What prevented you from falling prostrate when I commanded you, when I invited you to fall down? Iblis (Satan) said: 'I'm better than him. You created me from fire, while him You created from clay I'm made of fire while he is made of mud and fire devours mud.

The meaning of verse 7:13

Allah said: Then go down now! down from heaven, he also said, that means out of angelic form. It's not for you, you do not have to show pride here, demonstrate pride in the form of an angel, children of Adam, then move forward! leave your angelic form, it is also said to mean: leave the land;

Lo! you the art of those degraded, you are among those who are humbled that you are punished.

In other words, God said to Satan: "So come down, that is, the garden is also said, descending from heaven, it is not right to show pride here, so go forward, out of it! Of course, you are among the lowered!, The despicable!

Verse 7:10

QARIB: we settled in the land and made for you a livelihood, but there is little that you give thanks.

SHAKIR: and certainly we have put in place in the earth and placed the means of subsistence for you; little is that you give thanks

livelihoods PICKTHAL: and we have given you (mankind) power on earth, and appointed for you y. Thank you just give!

Yusufali is us who have placed you with authority on earth and you therein with means for the accomplishment of your life: small are the thanks you give!
