What a luxury car to have a maid who does not need to change the timing belt? I currently own a 1998 Acura RL and although I love the car, it is recommended that you replace the timing belt all the 90,000 miles at a cost $ 1,800. What are the luxury cars that are similar to the Acura RL, which does not require the replacement of a timing belt? Lexus? Infiniti? I usually buy 4 or 5 years use.
Lexus is a good practice to have a chain and they use gear and they hold really well, there is considered one of the best luxury cars for the price you can buy, and they hold their value fairly , good luck.
Luxury brands tend to have higher costs. I suggest trying another mechanic, if you want the car otherwise. Look here for the price of a kit of parts. http://www.prostreetonline.com/oem/wizard.asp?year=1998&make=AC&model=RL--001&category=A&part=Timing+Belt+Kit
By my calculations that means you're charged about 1600 for work, not a work of 20 hours. I like your idea of buying used, you save a lot that way, but much of what you save will be eaten by the interview.
Nothing more head cams will be a good choice. Japanese cars really start to crumble just as long as you think of their purchase. Luxury cars are junk anyway. Go look elsewhere.
look this way I replaced my timing belt, full service 2000, my daughter took her car in a business, she negotiated for a brand new installment 2000.00 562 per month. It was a year ago. My car is still ongoing and even better on gas. I'm so glad to have invested in my car. even if my daughter fell on the keys in an elevator shaft shortly afterwords.
each system has a timing belt (or something similar) to be replaced at some point in future. I heard that just stick changes have timing belts. If you do not replace the timing belt, you will have serious problems.
to use, go with a Lexus
Huh? I see this question on the titles of Jay Leno. Joking aside, the time its a timing belt or timing chain, then it will stretch. More or less around 100,000 miles seems reasonable. If it is a particular concern, ask your dealer.
A Mercedes diesel! GOOD MPG, and a super reliable engine, they are built to last!
27 mpg in town!

You can go with a 6 or 8 cylinder car that uses a timing chain but those who require replacement too. Much of the cost of labor is, depending on how tight the car. You need to know how much you love the car and how long you want to own it. If you want to keep for some time, replace the belt. It will make the difference between the car and sustained 100k miles 200k miles, all things being equal.
