Where can I keep a towel for the day close to NYC Port Authority Bus Terminal or Grand Central? I'm going to New York tomorrow for an interview and you want to make a case with a book and my iPod for the bus ride from the city. I do not want to bring with me for the interview. Since there is no storage in both Grand Central or Port Authority, which would people recommend I put my bag for several hours.
Thank you!
Sorry to say that you have to carry these items with you to the interview (or leave them at home).
There are no facilities in New York for the storage of these items on a short-term basis.
You already know the answer, there is no storage means there is no storage, you should take with you if you have a friend in New York who is willing to keep it.
Schwartz Travel is your only hope. But what is wrong with taking a briefcase to an interview?
There are places where you can pay to store luggage (for example, there is one on West 36th Street), but they will charge you an arm and a leg, and also time to get your stuff to ensure that there was no bomb inside. It would be much more sensible to take it to the interview. Assuming this is really a briefcase or attached small messenger bag / backpack, not a mass or something like that, you'll look more professional than its execution does not carry it, and if required it really irritates you on there will probably be receiving a closet or you can leave it for proper maintenance.
Good luck to you in the interview and the Blue Devils March Madness.
Sorry bud, things changed after September 11. The lockers at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, which was removed as a security precaution. You can even forget the store, you bag to each Grand Central Penn Station. There are no lockers there either.
Good luck
Here is what you can do but do not tell anyone. Some libraries can check bags when you walk in so you do not steal the books, while while you shop. You walk in check, you can walk and walk back. Do what you do next go back and get your stuff. Easy and free. Remember not to tell anyone.
Keep with you, for fear of seeing something from someone and say something
