Pu Belt

.. Off the block, but I can not get over the fan blades without cutting it. This is not a problem, but how the hell do I get the new belt on without the fan?? I must be missing something simple here?

You do not have to remove the fan. Look at the bottom of the fan shroud on the fan and you should see a section that stands out. There will be two videos, one on either end, and one in the middle on the bottom. With this ruling, it is easy to pass on the belt of fan blades, fan in hand and continue the loop on one side of the strap on the blades until you have done the trick. The belt is from the start!

Take the fan. You should have loosened the fan clutch nut before you take off the belt, but it still isn't impossible to take off. You may have to hold it with tweezers and a cloth to keep the pulley from turning while breaking the torque on the screws of the fan.
