Red Clutch

Me going to a gala dinner semi-official in Brazil next week. I intend to wear a robe of tissue that is like that

I want to wear a bright red faux leather clutch with it. Will it be too loud? What kind of accessories and entertainment will be done with it? I hesitate to wear red sandals because they are too flashy. Please help.
