Rimless Eyeglasses

I was going to get a pair of semi-rimless glasses. One eye is 4.25 and 2.5 others. A girl he told me, even using carbon thin lenses they look too thick, not full frames. Anyone have a greater requirement and unmounted?

Shari, my husband is 3.0 and 4.25 and it has 2 pairs of semi-rimmed wheels (only top) glasses. With thin lenses of carbon, it does not seem too thick, but you have to find a good optician. He tried to get new lenses of his glasses at the opticians a few times and said it was impossible, would not work, etc., than walking into the next optician and have no problem.
