Anyone else notice the moon goddess symbol triple Leonard Nimoy (Spock) belt buckle in the new Star Trek? Leonard Nimoy is a Wiccan in real life or are they trying to portray Vulcans as Wiccan as in the new Star Trek movie? It was a great film indeed.
Yes, I've noticed, but presumably a coincidence. The two crescents are what hold the belt loop, and the central circle is the loop.
Leonard Nimoy is Jewish, not Wiccan. Presumably neither Spock.
Sometimes a belt buckle is just a belt buckle. ;)
Noticed !!!!! I instantly thought it was great. No, this is not a coincidence!
Goddess bless Flag
I did not, but now I must go for!
I do not know Leonard Nemoy be Wiccan, but if that KICK! We need some fresh celebrity in our religion.
Yes all bong bong!
Whoa! I have not noticed this, but I see the movie tomorrow, so I'll have to watch.
Nimoy is Jewish. The Vulcan greeting sign, in fact, is a rabbi made a gesture when he blesses the faithful.
I doubt that it has an association with Wicca, but God damn that was a badass movie.
The original producer, Gene Roddenberry, was very anti Christian. This is more new age than anything else
Many of the names of characters in the original
series were derived mythical ancient Pagan
characters ... I guess it's easier than having to
Think of something new, and since most people
are so ignorant, they never noticed.
