It is more likely than not, the decision of HP to produce the Mini-Note is a direct result of the success of the Eee PC. For now, it will be interesting to see if the most elegant Mini-Note is able to take a bite of sale cheapest Eee. Intel (which Asus was beaten outside the door with his classmate mini-computer) will soon release the next generation of the Classmate, which has a 30GB hard drive and the Mini-Note, one 9-inch LCD screen. And, rumor has it Acer will be next in line, releasing its own mini-computer with a price lower than the Eee.
