Swiss Gear Bags

I am looking for a cold weather sleeping bag and it seems that my options are either more than $ 200 for most brands, or if I choose a brand such as High Peak, Swiss Gear, Kelty Slumberjack or even, I can pay $ 60 for the same temperature evaluation. Is it really worth all the extra money? I decided to take on the Appalachian Trail with me, so I need a good sleeping bag, but they seem to be doing the same thing with most of the same components. Have you compared the weight? The most expensive bags are much lighter in weight, making them more for long walks.
It has been my experience that companies that make cheaper bags are also on the classification temp. Sure, a $ 60 bag of degree zero can keep you alive at zero degrees, but you might be too cold to sleep.
