Having a problem with a turntable!? I bought a briefcase USB Turntable from Think Geek (Link: http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/dig ...
The problem I have is that every revolution, vinyl appears to be "dropped". As part of its meeting (I do not really know the terminology on the record player) is "trigger" whenever he makes a turn. I do not understand why he did that and it follows the sound of an amendment weird old movie and like how the height is just up and down. I thought it would be just how turntable worked, but I think they are destined to screw your listening experience.
I noticed that the section containing the platinum needle and the gear shift is slightly raised on the surface of cloth. When I am on the right hand side (the side of the needle) until it touches the surface of the suitcase "trigger" stops.
Ultimately I think you should stick to the side or straight down there is another problem that I'm missing here? Vinyl constantly looks like its flickering so, but it does not affect the sound.
It seems that the turntable may be defective. Sometimes - even with a good quality item. The best thing to do is contact customer service ThinkGeek and make them aware of the issue. They have excellent customer service and help you understand what to do next.
